Michael Wright
Michael Wright has worked in advertising as a copywriter and art director, creating some of the most memorable fish sticks commercials you've ever seen. He's created animation for kids' TV programming and has worked designing sets and graphics for TV news. More recently, he wrote and illustrated a line of kids' picture books about a boy named Jake. "Jake Stays Awake," "Jake Starts School," "Jake Goes Peanuts," you get the idea.
However, his lifelong dream -- aside from winning an Olympic gold medal in Men's Trampoline -- is to be a cartoonist. And now he's put his odd brand of humor into his comic strip, "Stay At Home Dad," whose story line is occasionally drawn from events in his own life or from the lives of those unfortunate few who happen to know Michael personally.
Michael lives in Manhattan Beach, Calif., with his wife, Cheryl, their three kids, Mason, Sloane and Paxton, and their dog, Carl.
