The Inside Track provides a close-up look at NASCAR, with its midweek release providing a natural opportunity to look back at the previous racing weekend and ahead to the next.

The content includes:

• The self-explanatory Hot Topics, which examines three subjects on every race fan's mind
• An in-depth look at current racing news in a Q&A format called Questions & Attitude
• Speed Freaks - a three-question discussion on current racing news
• The Top 10 - our weekly ranking of NASCAR's top 10 drivers, based on their on-track and off-track performances.

The content, always accompanied by color (and sometimes "colorful") photos,  is delivered in quick-hitting and often light-hearted fashion by Daytona Beach News-Journal motorsports editor Godwin Kelly and sports columnist Ken Willis, who have a combined 60-plus years of motorsports coverage and have each won the prestigious Henry T. McLemore Award for distinguished careers in motorsports journalism.
