Say cheers to the Christmas season by toasting the holiday with a merry cocktail. You and your guests will sip and savor the holiday spirit with these drinks.
From cranberries to rum and candy canes to vodka, these seven Christmas-themed drinks are pretty, festive and delicious.
CRANBERRY MOSCOW MULE
-- 3/4 cup premium vodka
-- 1/4 cup cranberry juice, pure
-- 1/8 cup lime juice, fresh
-- 1 1/2 cup ginger beer
GARNISH
-- Fresh cranberry sprigs
-- Frozen cranberries
-- Fresh lime wheels
Make the cranberry sprigs by removing the bottom leaves of a rosemary sprig.
Skewer about 3 pieces of fresh cranberries on the stem.
In a cocktail shaker full of ice, combine the cranberry juice, lime juice and vodka.
Shake for about 10 to 20 seconds to fully incorporate. Pour it over ice into the copper mugs. Fill them about 1/3 through and finish with a splash of ginger beer. Stir well.
Add the cranberry sprig, lime wedges and frozen cranberries. Serve immediately!

CHRISTMAS RUM SOUR
-- 2 ounces Havana Club Anejo Especial or another dark, aged rum
-- 0.75 ounce fresh lemon juice
-- 1 ounce homemade Christmas syrup (based on a mulled wine recipe)
-- 1 egg white
GARNISH
-- 1 cinnamon stick
-- Star anise
-- 1 slice dried orange
Put ice cubes in a whiskey tumbler or similar glass. Let chill.
Put ingredients in a cocktail shaker and dry shake (no ice) for about 10 to 15 seconds. Make sure to close the shaker tightly.
Add ice to the shaker and shake again for another 15 seconds.
Strain the cocktail into the chilled glass. Wait a few seconds until the foam is set.
Garnish your cocktail with a cinnamon stick, star anise and a slice of dried orange.

WINTERLAND
-- 2 ounces vanilla vodka
-- 1 ounce white creme de menthe
-- 2 ounces white chocolate liquor
-- White chocolate syrup
-- Crushed candy canes
Rim the edge of a martini glass with white chocolate syrup. Dip it into crushed candy canes.
Add crushed candy canes inside the glass for more flavor. Set glass aside.
Add the vanilla vodka, white creme de menthe and white chocolate liquor to a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake and then strain into your prepared martini glass.

JAMESON COLD BREW HOT CHOCOLATE
-- 2 parts Jameson Cold Brew
-- 5 parts hot chocolate
Whisk together in a small pan. Heat to simmer.
Optional (but recommended): Garnish with mini marshmallows, chocolate squares and a crushed graham cracker rim.

KILKEA CASTLE'S WHITE CHRISTMAS MARTINI
-- 1 ounce Tia Maria
-- 1 ounce vanilla vodka
-- 1 ounce Malibu
-- 2 1/2 ounces milk
-- Granulated brown sugar
Add Tia Maria, vanilla vodka, Malibu and milk into shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until well-chilled (approximately 20 to 30 seconds).
Strain chilled liquid into the martini glass.
Garnish with brown sugar stripes.

CRANBERRY MARGARITA
-- 2 tablespoons good quality tequila
-- 1 tablespoon triple sec
-- 1 teaspoon lime juice, freshly squeezed
-- 1/2 cup cranberry juice
Put ice into a cocktail shaker.
Add tequila, triple sec, lime juice and cranberry juice to the shaker.
Shake until well combined.
Pour over ice.
Top with fresh cranberries and lime wedges, if desired.

ABSOLUT ESPRESSO MARTINI
-- Ice Cubes
-- 1 1/3 parts Absolut Vodka
-- 2/3 part Kahlua
-- 2/3 part espresso
GARNISH
-- 3 whole coffee beans
Fill a shaker with ice cubes.
Add all ingredients to the shaker.
Shake and strain into a cocktail glass.
Garnish with coffee beans.
